why was Sunni Conference created # 3014

What is the main reason that sunni conference was made and broke away from the original.

I'm sure there must be a number of reasons but i heard that the main reason was to counter the tafdili lot; is there any truth in this?

My mistake I should have have made it clear. I'm talking about the sunni conference that takes place every year at ghamkol shareef
