How sweet, I really don't want to divert the topic. If Muslim leaders fail to provide the governance of Hazrat Umar (ra) then chopping of hands of a poor guy stealing bread is barbarism.

the news quote criminals too, it doesn't make them celebrities. it simply highlights their error and collects evidence to prosecute them.

tahir is an idiot. whoever dislikes a companions, dislikes the messenger (sallallaho alaihe wa alehi wasallam). he needs an education.

That site is full of of hardcore shia, especially the op 'fatema the resplendent' and 'Zarb e Ali' both of them are blatent shia who post stuff on there to try to undermine sunni beliefs and confuse the uneducated masses.

I got banned from that site just for questioning if zarb e ali is a shia a few months ago. one brother whose post that got deleted told me that he was one and then he gave bayah to peer abdul qadir, but he still believes in all the same shia stuff.

The moderators are protecting them and look at these taqiya doing shia as allies !!

In extension to this tafsir one can say that



My friend, I'm well aware of the talents of religious men to apply extensions to extensions of tafsir of tafsirs to convulute their ill-found arguments and you did exactly as predicted. Heck, you guys can even prove a donkey fathered a gorilla if it was ever mandated.

As stated earlier, I don't debate religious topics with religious men. I'm unfortunately devoid of the talents I mentioned above so it doesn't end up a fair contest!

So our Prophet may be made a mistake when He(Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ordered us to follow ANY of His companions so that we achieve our ultimate goal in life?

I would NOT call hinda a companion of Rasool ullah.. first of all she is a lady so she can hardly be a companion.. secondly after she became muslim, Rasool ullah said clearly that although He has forgiven her, but still dont come in front of my eyes..

I'm not going to discuss things on religious grounds here but one thing I would say is that such narrations are not unanimously accepted.

Moreover, the definition of whom the Holy Prophet(S) referred to as his companions and whom we interpret as being his companions has also been a point of discussion.

I'm going to leave it here for I've already delved deeper into a religious discussion with the above two statements than what I like to explore - the small point to raise was that the opposition to your argument in this thread is not unaware of these narrations you quote either - they just have a different take on them.

If people want to highlight their actions during jahilyya or even during their sahabiyat then lets have dislike for the action itself and not for the one whom the Prophet accepted as his companion.

I have great respect for you - infact my respect for you superceedes that of Hinda or Abu Sufiyan for that matter. What led to this way of thinking?

I was raised reading about Abu Sufiyan and Hinda as being the enemies of the Holy Prophet (S). I learnt about them from a very young age at school. The chapter on their conversion to Islam takes two paragraphs in most religious books yet several volumes can be published against their crimes against the Holy Prophet (S)?

Also, I have not read about a single contribution of theirs post conversion to Islam? Why?

Is it me or is that the ones who wrote Islamic history that are to be blamed for my feelings?

Secondly - what a loose criteria we have for sahabiyat? Would you say that any muslim that saw a glimpse of you in a shopping mall is your companion? If not - then why is that the case with the Holy Prophet (S)?

Disclaimer :- my last statement above is just food for thought. I certainly don't hold a strong opinion against it either.
